3/17/2009 : It's finally nice out!
We took a long walk through Crystal Lake Park yesterday with the dogs and got a decent cardiovascular workout in.
Today I'm off to Farm n Fleet to see if there are any tomato seedlings in yet! I'm attempting my first garden this year (at least since I helped my mom when I was a kid) and I can use any tips! I think as far as veggies go, we're going to go simple and just tomatos this year. But my flower bed needs MAJOR work and I'm thinking about going with tulips. Thoughts? Also, spring is here and is a great time for family and child ...

2/21/2009 : Wedding Season is Coming!
I was privileged to be invited to a wedding vendor cocktail hour last night sponsored by Partygirl Events & Island Bridal Travel. It was a great time and I met some other great vendors & engaged couples. I am even more excited now for this LONG winter to be over and to get on to wedding season!

1/26/2009 : What do you want to see?
Is there something in Champaign-Urbana that you're dying to see but you just can't seem to get to that side of town? Maybe you haven't figured out your new digital camera yet, but you want to capture something in the community? Let me do the work for you! Give me suggestions of things you'd like to see and I will try to post a photo for you.

12/12/2008 : The way to Candlestick Lane
I've personally never been through it myself, but every year I hear about it. And now as an Urbana resident, I think I'll try to go. Mr. Holly and I need to run some errands tonight, so I think I'll talk him into taking a little drive through the south part of town.
On our way home from Assembly Hall Wednesday night, we were discussing where exactly it is. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't really know, so I found this helpful link through the Champaign Public Library:
